What is the difference between KN95, N95, and other global equivalent respirator masks?
All of the global equivalents are tested at the same protective standards. While each global version is slightly different in shape and design, they are all manufactured to provide ~95% filtration of particles >0.3 microns in size.
The CDC notes the KN95 as a “suitable alternative to provide protection during the COVID-19 response” when traditional N95 respirators are not available.

These appear to be good quality genuine KN95 masks. The center is raised over your mouth which makes it easier to talk and is comfortable. The seal is good. I bend the metal insert around a pencil before adjusting it on the nose. These provide superior protection for you and those around you than paper surgical and cloth masks. For appearance I sometimes wear a cloth mask over this KN95 and have no trouble breathing.

These masks are well made, fit very well, breathe well, and are comfortable. I have a northern European nose (large, sticks out) and these masks give a perfect fit. The metal nose bridge gives a very good fit, I can tell since when I breathe the side panels puff in/out, very good seal. I use the masks for daily walks (90 minutes) and I have no trouble breathing through them. I will definitely be buying more of these, they are well constructed for multiple-use. They work well and are a good value.

While there have been below standard KN95 masks on the market, but these are the real deal. I did both the trying to blow out a candle with the mask on test (I could not) and will the mask hold water test (it does). They will help protect you and help protect others.
